Toxic is a bad choice itself. The best way would be just shut up.

Mad =/= toxic, that is 2 different things, so your argument is not correct.

I do remember reading something along the lines of where it tends to be easier to go into a sort of 'autopilot' mode when you're depressed or such which makes it easier to focus? Then again, feeling moody =/= toxic raging, especially if you keep yourself in check and keep it to yourself.

People tend to remember negative experiences better than positive ones, so the memory thing makes sense.

If you're angry you might focus more on the task at hand, but I don't think that necessarily makes you better at it. You also might be more concerned with the stuff making you angry which causes you to miss out on important information. So not sure I agree with the article on that point.
