wanna learn how to carry? play support
i myself am not a dedicated support player, but i play support from time to time
i must admit that as support your impact on the game is tremendous, you dont need to buy costy items, and be on constant alert cause a yawn can kill you
on the other hand you can focus on the important (game winning wise) things
i noticed that as support i find myself able to lead the teafights and the entire team with ease, im not bothered by farming so i can constructively write to ppl what i expect them to do (ppl play for fun and often forget that nexus is the target, using correct words will make them play to win without noticing it and breaking their fun)
warding is hella important, i found it problematic when i played zed that i had to sacrifice item slot for 3 wards, warding enemy jungle and killing some idiot who walks alone is an easy way to win a teamfight or take a free baron (dem junglers who lick their buffs)
you have more time to focus on strategy, you can tell your team to group for drag, or to push other lanes, or simply to gank your lane, as for support its usualy enough to just stand on a lane and be a threat that will keep them away from your carry
and the funniest thing it that support teaches proper skill usage, usualy your skills dont ofer damage, thats why its important to use them to their fullest natural potential instead of stacking ap or ad a braum wants to ult 5 ppl, while ziggs ezreal caitlyn ashe usualy save their ults for sure kills or simple steals, thats bad cause it wastes the skills (if cait will ult a squishy during her team engaging and hit, the guy is either dead or unable to stand even close to the fight resulting in easy win) ziggs can deal 2,5k of actual damage to enemy team with 1 skill but he saves it to deal max 300 dmg on a runner who probably saved flash for it
support makes you think about important stuff, cause they are denied this load of cod bulls**t that others get, they look at who needs help and toss their ski;ls to do the most those skills can do
ppl think that they cant do much (low elo ppl) but they are focussed on winning the game instead of call of duty style gameplay
