33% issue.
i patched fine yesterday. Played today without probs. Now i am trying to log in and it is stuck at 33%. I even forced a repatch. Still gets stuck at 33%. COULD YOU PLEASE UNBREAK YOUR GAME?

Same, well now I know I'm not the only one. 33% and endless file scanning. It's okay, I'm just gonna wait until tomorrow morning if not I'll re install.
and then you get told to jump through all these hoops when 2 hours ago the game ran just fine. It's so aggravating!!!
Same issue and I´m from LAN. Just doesn´t work.
I´m in curse voice with my friends WHO ARE CONNECTED AND PLAYING (In the LAN server of course) as I try and do EVERYTHING in your technical assistance webpage with no results. Just gets stuck in 33%. Look, I´m not mad or anything but come on Riot, your patch 5.3 was buggy right from the start and you know it.
I´ll be patient and just stack my Rod of Ages while I wait till tomorrow to see if anything has happened.

If you wanna fix it, heres what you do, It takes a long ass time, but its less time than re-installing and it's better than being forced to quit. Open your File Manager, go to your C Drive. Then, click on the 'Riot Games' Folder. Then click on League Of Legends, then RADS. After that, the projects folder, and thenclick on the 'lol_game_client' folder. Then, delete the folder titled 'filearchives'. Then, open up your client again, and commence the re-patch! Hope this helps you guys :)
it finally solved itself. i let it sit on its 33% and watched a movie. after an hour or so it finally finished. mind that i have a pretty fast machine and 30dl/5ul. stupid patcher
This happened to me during a ranked game. I loaded in and made it to about 2nd mid tower before my game crashed. When I opened it back up I was met with this 33% issue. I was out of the game for almost 6 minuets. I got back in game when everyone was level 7. We won, (because somehow I was blessed with an awesome team) but I still was marked with a leave buster. >_>
Guess I'm restarting my game before every ranked game now... don't want 20 minute ques.
To fix the 33% problem I open the settings tab, then hit cancel. For some reason it fixes the problem every time for me.
this is ridiculous, i just got done playing a game and took a 30 min break and then opened up the launcher again and it's doing file scan. 7k files scanned later and im still waiting.......................
please riot fix this bug, i just wanna play.
What I did to fix this yesterday was reinstall league of legends. It took a while, but it fixed the problem.

LOL MAN SAME, I TRIED 4 TIMES BUT IT FAILED. NOW I'M TRYING 5 TIMES, IF IT NOT WORKS, I WILL INSTALL AGAIN.

i also went ahead and disabled firewall and virus protection. no go. Run as admin...doesnt work. restarted modem, router and computer. no go. released and renewed ip and flushed dns...NOPE Went and made shure that lol launcher, client and patcher are allowed through the firewall...doesnt work
@Riot, this is you guys! THIS IS ON YOUR END! Please fix it.
