People need to start taking Flex Ranked Queue more seriously.

I queue up and play with the same rigor as if it were a Solo/Duo Queue game. Most of the time I am playing on my own too. Every other game there's some outrageous troll pick. The shocking thing is, everyone in the lobby is usually unsatisfied so it's not like I'm matched with a trolling trio queue. I'm just really confused and why people think that just because there are elo discrepancies in Flex (which makes sense as it is not based on your Solo/Duo rank) that players can borderline troll. It's not fun and no matter how hard you're trying to have fun, any kind of ranked queue is supposed to be competitive. The only difference is premade availability. It. Is. Not. A. Place. To. Troll.

I agree with you, people do take Flex queue too lightly. Although, I can see the argument from the other side:

"If I'm diamond and I'm being matched with/against golds every game, the game isn't fun if I go 100% tryhard meta."

For me, every single flex queue game is a complete stomp if I play my best adc's, and Flex queue allows me to play weaker picks like Vayne and still lets me win with them. The elo discrepancies are so big that I can get away with playing something "troll" and still stomping.

Too late for that.

I don't think the majority people will take flex seriously at any point, mostly everyone has the incentive of it being a second normals just with an extra reward, mainly because of the rank disparity.

Flex is just unlucky
