People give up too quickly

I'm not even talking about the people who call for a surrender vote at the first sign of trouble. That's annoying in its own right, but I'm talking about people dying a couple times in lane and saying the lane's 100% lost and there's no hope now. I know I've come back multiple times from starts such as 0/2, 1/3, etc.

If you adjust your playstyle accordingly, learning from your mistakes, playing safe, building properly, etc. and maybe get some help, the opposing ADC being 3/0 is not insurmountable.

Except good luck getting anyone to buy into that belief. Like my last match. It was Ashe Braum (us) vs. Twitch Rengar (them). The opening minutes were a **** show, to put it bluntly. It started with Ashe getting tunnel vision on Rengar while Twitch just stood there and whittled her down with auto attacks. And it fell apart from there, with Vladimir even teleporting in at one point to help. Twitch had 4 kills before we even reached 7 minutes. About as bad a start as you can get.

At this point, Ashe abandoned bot lane and roamed, while everyone tried telling her to stop. She eventually rejoined me, and we actually got a kill on an overconfident Twitch trying to 2v1 us. Ashe pinned this on him being stupid, but I pointed out that that's something we can take advantage of.

And we did start to do some positive things. Honestly, we could've staged a comeback were it not for some stupid mistakes, like RekSai taking raptors while I pinged a half dozen times to go after Vlad with me at our turret, resulting in me dying because I foolishly thought the whole time that she wouldn't ignore me completely and that I could survive until she did finally get up to me. After starting 1/3 in the opening 8 minutes, I finished 5/8/11, and that's with them surpassing a 4K gold lead a third of the way into the match and us screwing up a lot.

Even the best players will make mistakes, particularly when they're ahead of you and start to feel a little invincible. If you can capitalize on just some of those mistakes, that can mean the difference between you losing lane and you winning it. If only more people would actually see it that way.

Part of it is because LoL snowballs too much. Which is because minions and kills sometimes give too much gold in my opinion.

At the beginning of the game, they don't give too much gold, it seems fairly balanced - but once someone is a little fed, 1-2 kills and 40-50 cs, they can easily farm and get gold at too fast of a rate and the amount of gold they can farm up with minions becomes absurd. I honestly think minions should give less gold based on champ level.

A fed level 10 who can kill a minion wave in 2 seconds shouldn't get the same gold/exp as a level 1 who took a lot longer to clear the minion wave. I'm not saying a drastic difference, but it's pretty ridiculous once someone is fed they can just swoop up a whole minion wave in a moment and continue for mass gold advantage.

I also think if someone has died 5+ times they should start to grant less gold/exp to the killers. It's ridiculous when a fed champ/team can farm someone who already has 10 deaths just because they're underfed and easily get 10 more kills/assists out of them, and get tons of gold for little effort and snowball even harder.

I agree people give up too easily, but this is a huge part of it in my opinion. They know once a good player is fed, there's not much you can do unless your whole team works on denying them from mass farming, and most of the time the team will not do that, so players give up.

But then there are sometimes where people give up for little or no reason.. Once I was Alistar with Lucian bot and he couldn't farm, the other 2 severely outskilled him with poke and he constantly blamed me and gave up 5 minutes into game (no deaths), and then after he started trash talking me he died a lot more often and he pretty much stopped playing and just wandered while the rest of the game was 4v5.

Was down 7 kills in 20 minutes. We had all their outers as well as an inner turret down and they only had 2 of our outers. Our 0-5 jungler (guy who contributed most of their gold to them) starts a surrender vote and complains in chat all game about how we're doomed.

Seriously? Everyone is doing well but you, the least you can do is let us try to carry your heavy ass without being negative.
