facebook impostors? any experience with this issue?

a friend called me today to delete his facebook account. he said he had a friend invite from someone he doesnt want to get in touch with, and wants the account deleted.

i explained to him the difference between deactivating a facebook account and deleting a facebook account and he picked deleting.

so anyway, i deleted the account and to show him that its no longer existing i logged into my account, and searched his name.

and we found another account. with his full name, and pictures of him and everything. it was kinda creepy. he was fairly upset about it, but anyway, i submitted a request for facebook to delete it, and sent them the ID of my friend to see that he is the original owner of the name and pictures.

question is how long does facebook take to fix this issue?? my friend is fairly upset about it. and wants all traces of him gone from facebook asap.
