IDEA for EXCESS IP

Hello all! I have been playing the game since season 2 (still a scrub ;) ) and have been owning all necessary runes and all champs for a while now. Once you get to that point you inevitably start accumulating IP. I am up to 53000 now. Lately Riot has been doing some fun things like letting us buy icons with ip.

I think you guys @Riot should go one step further: Let us gift runes.

Runes are the only item in the shop that is not obtainable with RP. Therefore there is no monetary gain/loss tied to them. I would love to send a friend of mine, who doesn't have enough ip, a fully stacked rune set.

I remember grinding IP for runes. it took so long.

Please Riot!!! Runes would be the best gift ever!

grinding for runes is anti fun. And it creates an uneven playing field for new level 30's, who can not afford runes yet. it takes an average of about 150 games to get 13.000 IP (about one full rune page worth of ip). That's a lot of game time.

You can't but IP so that you can't "Pay to Win" so this would be contrary to the whole idea behind IP.... so probably not.

Hey, i just noticed that i received a 4 game ip boost! yay!!! But what can i do with my IP? yes, yes, Kalista! bought her. still have over 50k. hmmmm
