Boot Enchantments and the inability to switch/return them

I have been wondering about this for a long time now. Why cant you switch those around (yes, by paying more gold)? As it stands, you will need to sell the entire unit - second tier boot including enchantment - to then re-buy second tier boots and upgrade with a new enchantment. That is so backwards. Also, the back button does not work on boot enchantments, so if you miss-click in the heat of a battle, you are screwed. Thoughts?

the only thing that truly bugs me is that you can't refund an enchantment immediately after buying it.

i know it's to balance it so people don't buy homeguards, heal, and refund them, but it's still frustrating when i accidentally enchant my boots sometimes.
