Riot, your Bot detection system does not work.

Background:

Playing a 3s game with a friend. The random 3rd auto-locks Yi. Ok -- no problem, it's 3s ... anything works really. He doesn't respond to any comments in chat. I guess that's fine, maybe he auto-locked and went to get a drink.

So we start the game. Yi walks into lane and basic attacks the nearest enemy over and over until he dies. Walks into the other lane, basic attacks until dead. Rinse and Repeat.

To top it off, the other team refuses to push and win. My friend and I are literally held hostage in this game. The bot refuses to surrender, of course, and keeps feeding the enemy. They're up 20+ kills and farming both jungles, taking the spider, etc. We cannot win, or even compete, but they refuse to take the nexus. My friend and I cannot leave because we'll get leave-buster. We cannot complain because we'll get hammered by the "machine-learning" hall monitors.

We have to waste 40 minutes of our lives sitting in this hellish game waiting for the other team to get bored enough to win.

Mercifully the game finally ends. I check out the accounts history and sure enough the Yi account does this every game as far back as I care to look. We both report the bot. I make a note of the bots summoner name to see if Riot actually does anything with our reports.

So -- a few days pass and I decide to see if Riot has taken any action. Over 50+ games played later and the account is still active. This account is definitely getting reported every game (I'm talking 0/10+/0 with single digit farm), but somehow after 100s of reports the bot continues to be allowed to play. (My favourite part is that the bot account occasionally wins ... usually in games against other bots. One game looks like it may have had 5 bots and 1 live player.)

Riot -- I understand toxic chat needs to be cleaned up, and I'm all for your efforts in this regards.

However, given the choice I'd take an ACTUAL HUMAN TRYING TO PLAY THE GAME who is toxic, over a feeding robot who holds me hostage for 40 minutes.

Finding these bots would take literally 2 minutes of watching someone play the game. If a CSR watched 2 minutes from any game this guy had played they would insta-ban the account.

Whatever you are doing now is not sufficient. It is not working.

You should be able to just leave perfectly fine... unless you've done that several other times. I've left games here and there and have never once had a problem, cause you know things come up so you have to do it.

Besides, if it really was a bot he would have only gone to one lane, but from what it sounds like you just said he went into both lanes and they don't do that. So it could have just been a person messing with you.
