I have problems when someone in the house has their phone doing automatic update/app downloads. And it takes away all the internet from my computer to their device. Anyone know how to make it prioritize my computer rather than making it prioritize application downloads?
Access your router settings using the ip address in your search bar. It should start with 196 or something similar. You can customize most features from there.

Yeah, go ethernet. That is by far the easiest way.
pretty much what fallenreaper88 said. though some routers may or may not have the software for it but if it does then it would allow you to set limits for speed/usage traffic for the devices that are connected to the router.
