They're not changing it obviously. And yea i wasn't going to use any Tact for this convo because it's ridiculous how much people have made this a very big deal.

It's most likely that they'll change it instead unless it's heavily connected t the new lore (which has to be imabalnced awesome to make up for such a blasphemy).

Also, no we won't shut up because they are gradually destroying the identity of Mordekaiser. He needs his title back (or a new one respecting both death and metal themes or Paladin of Pain) and a re-rework.

What identity? He's not a freaking metal bender. He's an undead trapped in armor. And can only manipulate his armor. You guys don't even make sense. You all only like master of metal because of metal songs.

As I wrote in other threads..

Morde isn't like any other spectral entity of the SI and we actually don't know who or what he is, what we know is that his Armor is not like what Heca and Thresh have and it's a powerful artifact. Now, Morde fuels his power through pain and he can easily deliver that manipulating the power that contains him in the form of metal debrids, adding to this there his ability to manipulate the soul of his victims enslaving their soul. The use of metal is for the physical world while the "death control" comes for the spiritual entities such as souls.

It's not a simple reference game, it's a lot of what Riot themselves made Morde to be in terms of lore, kit and ausiliary themes (Pentakill band, metal song references). He is a misture of what all the SI characters are plus the metal theme. You can't tell us that this was never his theme nor can Riot use a small duality as a mean to delete one of the faces of a character. If you want to drastically change him then you must say it outloud and not faking it by calling it a refinement of a character.

You just proved my point. Biased. Nothing in his lore says anything about pentakill. The title's come from champ's lore......this community.

Manipulating his prison doesn't just suddenly makes him able to manipulate metal. It said he was using this prison to his advantage...

i think some people dont want to comprehend....but please continue to be bias to all of Riot's changes. Sure helps

I can agree that we've been extremely vocal on something that can be far better than what it seems but what we saw is:

"Here, get your Mr. Average Undead Warrior title and lets remove what made him different from any other SI inhabitant"

I'm still open to a revalutation if the Lore makes it a better fit. Yet "The Lord of Death" still seems lame. If you scroll most of threads you'll see that the community has also said: "You want him to make it less Magneto? Fine, but that precise title it's lame and there are tons better" proposing then a huge list of valid alternatives. Not second to any is the title "Pain's Paladin/Paladin of Pain" which is a title that fits the entirety of what he is, it was in previous lores and actually sounds better and peculiar.

You do realize there were multiple strands of the old lore, right? Pentakill was an official, albeit alternate lore. Don't insult people if you don't actually know the full story.
