Fizz passive feels lackluster and out of place to his kit
I play alot of fizz and he is one of the few champs I have heavily invested time in (over 300 games) and I have come to love the little trickster and all that he is. It's really satisfying for me to quickly instagib squishies and counter alot of meta picks like gragas kass and zed and beat them out while they scratch their head. However I feel like fizz needs a reworked passive to his kit.
The reason why I feel that his passive is counter productive and out of place is he doesn't need free aa block because of how squishy he is, its like putting a piece of paper over yourself to stop a punch - now granted it does have some hidden power early game against range autos but generally it is useless when most ad/ap assassins are spamming spells and not autos. The second part of his passive which lets him move through enemy units again feels useless. Very rarely with any champion am I creep blocked and would say, "Wow I wish I could move through these creep block OP" and in most cases its with an adc that I get phantom dancer for anyways. Fizz can also dash through minion with Q and dodge with E making his passive pretty counter productive.
I would like to give a new idea, because buffing the block on his passive would still be redundant unless it was rediculous like block 30 damage from autos and which case wont get him played for. So for a new passive why not give fizz some sort of mana regen like veigar or xerath? that is generally a gimp to fizz's kit, or give him some better scaling with hp. Or maybe Xerath's old passive because right now fizz passive just isn't satisfying to me.
Sorry my english structure is bad, it's my second language. Anyways please I would love to have a discussion with any reds.
's passive isn't meant to take champions into account. The reason his passive exists is so that he can walk through creeps, like the passive from
. The second part of his passive is also so he can ignore the auto attacks from minions so that he can go full in when he dives on a champion. Also, his passive allows him to escape through minion waves. It's a very subtle passive but it's also very unique in that it doesn't really interact with champions as much as it does with his own play style. It's not like, say,
's passive or
's passive that makes them tankier so that they can be in more teamfights. I really can't see
