I am 5/0 vs the enemy Riven (6/1 total cuz i went 1 for 1 during a gank) and suddenly my client crashes as I am 4 man ganked in the middle of my great escape and have been trying to re-connect for 6 minutes now

It's more of affecting Veigar's offensive, not defensive. If Veigar tries to manipulate Zed into the edge of his cage, Zed just shadows out and jumps on veigar, and can ult Veigar, since his stun is already down, unless Vei has zhonyas

DDos attempts **usually ** focus just on your client's communication with the server at any point, and not on any other aspect on your internet.
P.S. I put "usually" in bold for the sake of the off chance I'm wrong about some details. I'm merely speaking from personal experience of such events and haven't noticed and/or experienced a full on internet shutdown.
