Why couldn't Aurelian Sol be named Ao Shin?

This isn't a hate post, just a genuine question. The community at large knew almost nothing about Ao Shin except for the fact that he's a badass dragon. Couldn't the design/narrative teams take this now complete champion (Aurelian Sol) and name it Ao Shin? Did they just change the name to get fresh ideas swirling around because they couldn't get Ao Shin's kit/concept to work and they wanted a completely fresh start? It doesn't make too much of a difference to me, so long as I'm getting my epic dragon champion I'm happy (Shyvana is currently my favorite champion design and lore wise, but now I guess she'll have some competition :D ). It goes without saying (though I will anyways), even with a name change I'll keep riding this hype train!

They already said that Aurelion might not even be the name of the champ when he's released... he's not Ao Shin, Ao Shin is scrapped and some aspects may be used in the new champ.

It's not confirmed, the same happened with Azir, or 'Seth' at one point.

Probably because Aurelion is a more appropriate name for this version of the character. That being said, it is a tentative name, so it could change at a moment's notice depending on what Riot wants to do with him.
