Attention to all of those who play ranked.

Beware! We're now reaching the time where a lot of people are getting out of school and are itching to play ranked. You might encounter the first timers, those who have watched a youtube video or looked at that champion in the client and thought to themselves "hmm, That champion looks cool, lets play them in ranked!". Those players might voice they're opinion in pre-game chat or in-game, if the first timers happen to mention it in the pre-game lobby, take that as a warning to whats to come and dodge now, others aren't as lucky as you to get a pre-game typer, some might get the in-game "first time ahri, this'll be fun. XD". count your blessing and hope that riot takes mercy on your LP.

The rager are another kind of player you might run into during the summer period. Although they are raging at you/your team, make sure to never provoke such a player or they might AFK (see "AFK"). They might be hurtful, racist or all around toxic but just mute them, DO NOT tell them you're muting them though as they might escalate to a higher level of rage... Trolling.

The Troll will go out of their way to make sure you don't win this game. They will do any or all of the following, feed on purpose, spam /all chat, call out your teams position to the enemy team, try to make you all go on tilt, and just be an all around annoyance in the game to everyone including the other team.

The AFK is someone who will either Queue up a game with the intention to never play or could be a person who has decided to leave due to rage/lost hope or just stay in base. The first type of AFK cannot be helped and will most likely never come back, These games you will play with these people in them will feel like a hopeless game but if you come out with a win it will make you and your team feel like gods amongst mortal men. The second type of AFK will ruin the game for all and drag the teams moral down lower and lower while spamming the /FF vote.

This is a cautionary tale of ranked and I hope non of you will encounter these people in any of your games. If I missed any be sure to tell me in the comments so I can edit it in.

TL;DR: Be careful of ranked now because you don't know what lies beyond that "match me with teammates" button.
