So, it appears that Dr. Lyte will have to re-examine player behavior modification efforts in light of these new scientific findings. In game rage may be due to a common parasite humans get from cat feces, little bits of which are flying around in homes of people with cats.

People with 'rage' disorder twice as likely to have toxoplasmosis

I believe that banned players should immediately get tested for toxoplasmosis, and if found to be positive, obtain a letter from a physician. Riot Games may owe you an apology as this would be classified as a disability.

It not necessary to get rid of your cats however...

"This is definitely not a sign that people should get rid of their cats. We don't understand the mechanisms involved. It could be an increased inflammatory response, direct brain modulation by the parasite, or even reverse causation where aggressive individuals tend to have more cats or eat more undercooked meat."

There are many example in nature of parasites modifying their host's brains in order to direct them into more advantageous behaviors in regards to the parasites imperatives.

Zombie ant fungi 'know' brains of their hosts

"A parasitic fungus that reproduces by manipulating the behavior of ants emits a cocktail of behavior-controlling chemicals when encountering the brain of its natural target host, but not when infecting other ant species, a new study shows."

TL;DR Direct brain modulation by the toxoplasmosis parasite may be causing people to rage in game

kind of disappointed in this community, I mean you'll swallow Dr. Lyte's incomprehensible pseudo-scientific gibberish but real scientific proof that players are being driven to madness due to an illness which is not their fault, that for some reason people find amusing....
