Were you actually like, punished or just warned about the report? Because you should probably just accept that some people are douches and will report you for no reason and move on
According to Riot's "behaviors that are reportable" page, what you did is not against the rules. You simply are "breaking the meta" and that is okay. If people report you solely for that reason and not because you were retaliating with a bad attitude then their report wont be taken seriously and you wont get punished. I not only break the meta a lot, I also auto-lock a lot in Normal's because not only is it not against the rules but also because I don't feel it makes sense to do so in a non competitive game mode. Normal's are for fun, and you cant get reported for wanting to have fun. Also, if the players are giving you an attitude, tell them to relax and play it out, if they refuse to deal with it/let it go, mute them and report them for negative behavior.
