Omg Ahri is the most fun champion ever

So Ive been looking for a main champion for ever. Ive been playing since season 3 and have mostly played tanky and support champions(singed,vlad,leo.naut) Any ways ive been grinding Ip for a couple of days to try out ahri. I saw a smurf on her and he destroyed us and Ive been looking into mages recently(malz,veigar,), just looking for a new play style. I have NEVER had this much fun on a champion. If you hit your full combo you just wreck and if you get in trouble just ult away. I was literately giggling the entire game I realize Im not very good with her yet but i cant imagine how fun she is once you master her. Anyways if you haven't tried her and are looking for a fun champ try her out.

I do have a question

How do you counter her and what should i look out for as far as counters and how do I play against my counters( items,champions,ect)

Leblanc. Leblanc, Leblanc, Leblanc. Diana too. Champions that can outdamage her in a single combo and can avoid a big chunk of her damage. In that vein, Yasuo is a skill matchup, but it could go very badly for Ahri too. But you're hard countered against LeBlanc, you need to either be better or get fed off of bot.

as far as quick burst like LB cant i just out range her?

Ahri counters, her waveclear isn't the greatest so some champs can shove and punish roaming, although coordinating with your jungler to gank them is an option.

Some burst characters have more reliable cc than you and can oneshot you if you don't build around it. A banshee's veil to avoid dying to veigar, etc. can help or an abyssal scepter if you want more offense while you're at it.

Yes. She is fun. 760k mastery points and I'm still having fun.

Ahri is countered by targeted abilities. Bonus points if those abilities pack hard cc. Her waveclear and damage potential early are terrible, so lane bullies and/or resourceless champions have a free lane until 6. Every matchup is different but here are a few defensive items you can purchase if not doing so good: item 2033 item 3174 item 3157 item 3001 item 3111

Ive been taking TP Mid lately just because i like to get back to lane quicker and map pressure. Should i Burn spells to push lane when im getting pushed in like that or just look for a misplay for my combo? I usually play tanky bruisers so being so squishy is new to me. Im used to being able to trade and not having to worry about dying if i mess up.
