Not to go against the crowd, but I like Yasuo. Don't like his critical passive, but other than that he's fun. I honestly wish that instead, he just had a passive that grants a large shield and it be that. He doesn't need critical damage scaling. Not without a dodge feature. With all the critical items, I'm growing very tired of playing. We have critical items that give bonus AS, armor pen, large amounts of damage, lifesteal (its on the PBE), and now its on our supports. Hello, 300% critical damage.

Some form of long range damage (whirlwind)
Dash (yup)
Shield or HP Buff (yup)
loads of damage (yup)
not a tank (yup)

Oh -- Jarvan?

long range (Q)
Dash (Q+E)
Shield (W)
Loads of Damage (passive, plus scaling)
Not a tank (Depends on build really. So much Full AD Jarvan lately.)

Gragas?

Long range (Q & R)
Dash (yup)
Shield (W gives damage reduction -- same as shield really)
Loads of damage (yup and doesn't even need to build AP for it.)
Not a tank (well -- maybe he's a tank.)

Diana isn't really a great example. Her dash only let's her go IN. She doesn't have an escape like the others.

One thing that annoys me is how everyone has long range poke, even if their kit doesn't seem like it should. RekSai Sion Khazix , for example . Hell, I even think it's sorta fitting on Braum's kit, and STILL dislike it there.

Ah, crap, you're right. My original list was significantly longer, but I decided to remove all the champs with gap-closers (so no Jax, Fiora, or the like). I missed that one. Good catch.

I think you entirely miss the point...

You used to have to be careful not to overextend in lane. I just played vs an Azir who didn't even ward. My jungler came and he would just jump back to his tower. WTF.

What Riot does to negate this is gives them less initial damage so they don't feel broken. But they take the game from a thought out careful game into a boring reflex contest.

Have you ever fought a lee sin all tank with just 1-2 damage items? You'll probably melt if you're not a tank yourself.

Very difficult to do late game. Not only do you somehow have to land the Q onto the ADC/ Squishy, but then you gotta go through their whole team

In Bronze/Silver it might be easy though

Yea Gnar does no damage WHATSOEVER, I mean those three stacks and if built hybrid definently doesnt shred people down..........dont talk down to the tiny man of the top lane. The reason he doesn't fit is that he doesn't have a shield

Ekko can be built as tank. Gnar is a tank. Lee Sin builds tank. Nidalee doesn't have shield/hp boost. Azir doesn't do loads of damage unless you stay in his soldiers. Diana gets up close and personal. Lee Sin gets up close and personal.
