Giving tips is reportable now?

The enemy cass walked into a bush I was in as Mordekaiser, and I almost 100-0 her, but she got away with heal. I said in all chat, "tip: don't facecheck, its in the loading screen."

I'm not even trying to be a jerk about it, I'm trying to tell them they shouldn't do that. It's something that every player should know by now, but in the end, they report me for saying that.

Don't give tips, people might think you're being an a$$ about it.

Did you give said tip in a loving and supportive manner?

Try using phrasing that's even less aggressive than that? Not that I'd call that aggressive, it can just be misinterpreted by anyone in a bad mood.

Tone doesn't carry over the internet. He had no way of knowing whether you meant that as a friendly piece of advice or "it's on the loading screen, idiot."

There's nothing wrong with giving a little advice to people on either side, especially in normals (IDK if you were in normals or not). You have no idea how many times I've had to tell noob Jinxes not to ult full-health targets, or told the enemy ADC who's three levels and a full item behind me that they might not want to just run up lane and shoot at me. Sometimes I'll leave to after-game chat though, especially if I've got something long to type.

giving unasked tips is jerkish try to do it irl and you will quickly see why and how for instance meet somebody who got in a car crash, go and begin to give him tips how to drive a car and watch at their reaction
