Am I going to be wrongfully flagged for "boosting"? After my I finally reached S5 I lost 3 games in a row. After those three games I started this 9 game win streak which makes me afraid I could be flagged for boosting even though I'm not. This is a serious concern for me as I really don't have a way to prove I'm NOT boosting besides playing from the same IP I've usually been playing at. I'm contemplating throwing a game or two because of this.
Going on a win streak is not a reason to be banned for boosting. They don't simply look at 9 games and say, "This guy won 9 in a row. He's obviously cheating." They look at your performance as a whole, including statistics we can't see (like actions per minute, wards placed, wards killed, towers/objectives obtained, etc) over the course of a long period of time. The system reviews literally months of data at a time and is able to determine whether or not someone is boosting. I have gone on many win streaks, followed by many loss streaks. It just happens. I went from Silver 4 to Gold 4 in about a month, including some streaks of 9 or 10 in a row, or 13 out of 15. I have never been concerned about getting banned, because I know that I never boosted anything.
TL;DR As long as you have truly not boosted, you are fine. Keep that climb going!
