Why does Riot's create their own problems?
- They wanted to deliver lore "better" (the lore was perfectly fine) so they scrap everything and what we have left is a weird halfway, half-assed lore that is going nowhere.
- Jungling might have needed a little tweak but the jungle right now is not any better, not even close.
- They made bruisers with gap closers like Irelia to counter ADC's and then they added to many of them till it became a problem. So to solve that, they added more champions with %health damage and assassins which also became a problem. Now tanks are useless, most AP mids are weaker compared to their resourceless and energy based heroes and mobility is at an all time high.
- Riot nerfs all the supports which forces people to play AP mids in bot lane. Now the champs who were supposed to be in AP carries gets nerfed that doesn't only affect their supporting, but also their solo lanes.
- Recent Kass and Veigar nerfs etc etc.
I mean, it's like some of their changes comes out of nowhere and it's always that same, "we know what we're doing cause we've done the research" crap that always seems wrong for some reason. The game right now is at it's WORST, balance-wise and I'm not being overly dramatic. I've been here since UFO Corki, I saw release Xin Zhao, release Leblanc, poke/heal comp, league of cleavers, league of warmogs, the bruiser explosion of 2013 and many others.
If you were into skins or graphics or Esports, then you'd be okay I guess, Riot has been doing a great job on other parts of their product. I'll give them that.
