Ryze
I fucking love this champion.
Let me tell you a story,
I have a friend who Mains Yasuo, and ive always envied him... He has a champ that he can Carry with with the right amount of skill. He could go into a fight certain that he could 1v3, he could engage at the right time and sneak away easily.
I kinda didnt like that i didnt have a Carry champion like that. and i personally dont like Assassins, im more of a mage type of person due to many years of playing a Warlock in Warcraft.
For the last few months ive been looking for MY carry champion... someone i could feel as if was one with me. that related to my playstyle. I tried Gragas, Jhin, Jax, Yi. Vlad but i just couldnt feel it.
Then the Ryze Rework came out. and i started to learn him. little by little i learned new tricks that i could relate to my friends tricks as yasuo. I learned how to make the enemy want to focus ME. something that never usually happens. and i felt that sensation of having a whole team want to kill me but through skill and quick thinking i would escape with 2 bodies on my head.
Before i tried Ryze, i even Tried Yasuo.... and i just didnt like uit..... I would see my friend do all these cool things andi would root him on with "IS THAT REDMERCY?!?!?!" or "THE GOD... THE LEGEND" but when i tried yas. i just couldnt feel it. But yesterday i playued ryze to my fullest ability. and it felt nice to hear my friend say "I dont know what you did.... but Gj" or "Holy WTF? Good Job!!!" Tbh... it feels great.
I personally feel like Ryze and Yasuo are about the same level of Power and in a 1v1 Scenerio, they would ahve to do their all to beat the other.
So thats another reason i love Ryze, He isnt one of those Freelo champions anymore.. Strong yes... but So is Yasuo. both champions take alot of skill to master. and even both of us havent mastered our "Carry Champions".
Anyway im sorry for ranting on and on. But i just want to say, Thank you riot. Just a suggestion.... Keep Yasuo and Ryze at the same level XD it works.
Oh... P.S. I got my first Actual Skillful Penta with Ryze yesterday. ive gotten 1 before but it was just me Ksing them all. and th ebest part.... This was in a really close game.
