Option to turn off "Spectate Game" screen in client and return the news

I've been playing for a long time now, since June 2011 and I can honestly say I miss the news feed.

I'm not one to spectate a lot of games and honestly, I'd much rather read the news or see the news feed that isn't in the launcher or at the bottom under the spectate screen. The news still runs behind it, if your computer freezes up for a second while loading you can still see it before the Spectate Game screen pops up. I'm not asking to take it away completely, just put an option into the client options (with the sound and all that) to switch between the two.
