Honestly guys this is just a game, please tone down the toxicity.

This is a re-post after I wrongfully "named and shamed." I never should have posted part of what he said to me, but I thought I'd repost as I do feel that the message is a good one. Also, regardless if this is ranked or not, (this particular game was a normal) the point stands, that you shouldn't be verbally attacking someone to this extent in EITHER of them. That's just not ok. Having said that here it is.

Got home after a long day, and decided to play a few games of league. Just normal games nothing special. Upon playing the second one I was greeted with a lovely member of the community who decided it was my fault he lost lane. Harassed me majority of the game, although I wasn't paying attention to most of it as my brother and I were discussing some tech problems we had for a podcast we're starting.

Repeatedly he says that it's "Noc's fault we're losing, he keeps farming the jungle and won't help." Far from the truth, just haven't been helping him as he's been abusing me all game. Then comes the end of the game, gg's were thrown around, and then he throws me a friend request. I accepted thinking nothing of it as I've had people where we've been in arguments before friend me, and I them, and we play together and have a good time.

Instead I get this, and while no one in my close family has gotten anything like that, I can only imagine how someone would feel if they did have someone how had cancer in their family. Seriously guys, this shit needs to stop. At the end of the day, it's a game, a normal team builder game to make it more ridiculous. Wishing someone/someone they know cancer of said game is absurd. Grow up, get a different hobby, or take a real hard look at yourself if this is you.
