I played Shen quite a bit, and I'm actually pretty excited for the rework. I think that Riot did a good job with keeping his fun abilities (E and Ult) whilst changing up the more boring ones. And yes, I know that Q was useful because you could poke with it and farm from range with it and sustain with it and whatnot. But let's be honest for a minute - it was a pretty darn boring ability and basically boiled down to mashing Q whilst hovering over the enemy laner with your mouse. His W was a fire and forget and it pretty much felt impactless past 15 minutes. I like the whole spirit sword mechanic. I'll definitely try him out when he hits live.
