Why do high elo players almost always get salty when playing with low elo players?

Because they know they are good, and simply don't want to deal with noobs ruining their potential victory. It's not too hard to grasp. NOBODY likes doing amazing in a game, just to lose because your team sucks.

I'm not defending them by any means, they should expect as much. I'm just answering your question.

Because they think they have a superiority complex due to their higher rank, and they want to project their power onto us.

You really should just ignore them, no amount of skill can fix toxicity.

Why do low ELO players act like they're God's gift to League when they solo kill diamond players who are on a champion they've never tried before in normals?

The reason is the same. Ego. Everyone has it, some worse than others.

If you are in Diamond and can't play a champion on a level high enough to obliterate lower ELOs, then I can only see one thing happening in the past: eBay

You don't get to Diamond by being good in lane. It helps, but it's not necessary. I destroy my diamond friend 1v1 in lane regularly, but I'm gold and he's diamond. There's a reason for that.

I agree. I have a few friends who can wreck in lane but they can't even get past silver because they have their heads to far in the clouds to consider situations past the 1v1 in mid lane such as jungle ganks.

Reason being that one of them had either luck or misfortune playing Ranked.

You might not believe in ELO hell, but I believe in uncarriable games with brain-dead monkeys as teammates.

Personal skill is secondary if nobody in your team can't do basic things or lose lanes after 3 minutes.

bro just because they're bronze doesn't mean they're bad. I see that way too much, " oh you're bronze? anything you say is invalid. " Im b1 because i choose not to play with people who don't put the effort i put into my gameplay. Last night i carried a gold 3, a b1 Lux carried them. Does that mean i belong in Gold 3 because her mechanics were flawed? Maybe.... but at least give me some respect. Im not going to go out and judge poeple off their rank, that's some Donald Trump dog poop right there.

sounds like dumb way to refer it too. the thing about high elo versus low elo in normals game. high elo are consistent while low elo can get lucky game beating a gold 3. i'm plat on my main never try in normals and get flamed on because i lost to a silver 2 and I was feeding on purpose. If i try i win 95% of all normals game isnt fun killing my opponent over and over game when I go premade I do feed

people can say I'm silver and good but my team always sucks, thats literal bullshit. i had the same mind set once but since my mechanics improve when reaching platinum. almost every silver player 90% do the same mistake over and over. i can go on lolskill play on my friends silver account see somoone thats 200-140 games as played as a specific champion i wouldnt care because their silver and they all play the same in my eyes, same mistake, same everything. even the one that do get fed never accomplish anything. I was above average and usually win lane but lose game. "i never did anything about my lead" and trade it 1 for 1 instead of trading and living

I feed in a way to be more challenging, normals game are too easy for me since I premade to much and my normal mmr is at low silver mid silver level. a lux beating a rengar who isnt trying doesn't mean shes good, or else she wouldn't be in the elo she got.

Just gotta realize that toxicity travels across the game, and no one, whether it be bronze or challenger, is safe from it.

These salty high elo players you're mentioning are just toxic, and I'm sure they act the same way in a game of solo queue at their own league.

They believe that being in low elo means have less skill in the game, even if the people in low elo are climbing to reach the high elo. Its a complex that when you are higher skilled, you automatically think people lower than you suck. This mentality happens all over the world. It also causes the lower elo to believe that all high elo are selfish egotistical people who only want to play with the best. Its a two way street with assumptions and both stink. Personally I like both high and low elo players.

I can imagine that it's less to do with the fact that they're "better" or someone is "worse", and a lot more to do with the mentality that everyone has to have a perfect game.

Losing lane is not GG. First blood is not GG. Losing a teamfight is not GG, hell, last week in the LCS, TSM proved that a $10K gold lead isn't even GG.

There are a dozen ways to win a match, and when you flame someone for the smallest insignificant mistake and then continue this unwarranted hatred for the rest of the game, I don't blame them for getting salty.

I can't speak for every high elo player, and 'high elo' is definitely a perspective on where you place. There are undoubtedly Gold ranked players that worked their way up and think themselves above their like-minded Bronze-mindset brethren, despite still flaming over nothing and inciting tilt in their teammates over a single failed gank or single failed teamfight.

This isn't an all encompassing post, but it's an observation I have made throughout my time playing league.

i had motor skills side effects from medicine i took, yet was more tilted from the way i was spoken to by a "gold player" who "is monster" yet was so tilted by me having trouble, that time was wasted complaining versus DOING SHIT TO PROVE ELO -__-
