How long of a loss streak do you need before Riot intervenes?

Is this one of those "Never" questions? Or is there a point when Riot would say "Okay, you've been f#cked over enough, we'll give you a win"?

Well, intentionally skewing games for players on winning/losing streaks would create some pretty nocive interactions for no reasons, so yes they prefer to let tilting people tilt...

It sucks, but if you're low ranked, getting out is a marathon crap shoot because most of the trolls and spoiled raging children are also low ranked. Hopefully one day they do something about the system, but as it is that's the only way to deal with it. Lately, I've been trying way too hard to stay positive and keep every comment as nice sounding as possible, and while it's certainly annoying and kinda painful to force yourself to speak nicely to a furious brat, it actually works sometimes, and that's better than any other approach I've seen.

Riot won't do anything about your matchmaking no matter how unlucky you are. I've spoken to support multiple times about having upwards of 80% troll games, and they just say "sorry about your luck, keep trying to win and you'll get out eventually". Well, I doubt it, but I am trying, and that's all you can really do :) That and don't rage on your team. I'm sure it feels appropriate at times, but think about it. Has anyone raging on their team ever produced even a remotely positive result?

1 if your teammates are unreliable, do not rely on them. 2 if you are losing take a break 3 if you believe you are the best player on your team, act like it - be a leader

Sadly, it is a TEAM GAME. You have no choice but to rely on them to some degree.

Taking breaks doesn't help, you still come back to losing streaks.

Some teammates will do nothing but belittle you, and won't take orders.

For #3, sometimes I even wish to make an example of one teammate to get the rest in line.

1 bronze mentality - if you cannot carry then you belong where you are until you improve

2 bronze mentality again. You influence every game you are in, you are what all those games have in common. While some games are unwinnable, you could have made different choices in each one. Take something away from losses instead of blaming everyone else.

3 Bronze mentality - Trying to give orders to your team is not leadership. Everyone is trying to win, most players will follow someone who is doing well and not being a jerk about others mistakes.

Seconding all of this. Also, if taking breaks doesn't help, you need to chill out. Once you can realize your losing streak means nothing in the present, and move on from it, you'll find doing well is much easier.

Yeah 2 of my last 5 ranked games had an afk on my team. I can't say for sure that either one would have been a win of course but I do have a lot more fun when a loss is my fault and there is something I can take away from it.

Yeah, this is a 'Never' situation. On a losing streak? It sucks, but tough luck. Either you get lucky(better teammates or worse opponents) or you get better.

" "bronze mentality" means the attitude you have that perpetuates your "elo hell" regardless of division- diamond players can get to diamond from bronze in a week and never seem to complain about their teams. If I made better choices I would be higher, same as everyone else. Food for thought.

Protip: it is nearly impossible to lose a game when you deserve 3 or more divisions higher.

I was Silver IV on my main when my smurf hit level 30, and I went into bronze just to see what it was like. I could not lose a game at bronze 2, and I play support. I would regularly end up getting 8-10 kills in botlane just because nobody in bronze is even smart enough to move sideways when thresh winds up his hook.
