Seriously considering quitting this game.

Im so tired of it taking up my weekends, when it mostly isnt even fun. Most of the time im aruging with trolls, and losing games because of teamates deciding to feed. Its impossible for me to climb in ranked any more, and honestly it isnt even fun to try to win anymore, because any progress i make, is instantly destroyed by a teammate, or even my own mistakes admittedly. It seems nearly impossible to have fun in this game anymore, due to the horribly unfair ranking system. If i win 55% of my games. Then why does my mmr go down? It doesnt make sense to me. And its really really tedious to play ranked now.

It just isnt even fun most of the time, but i feel addicted. I dont even know whats bringing me back, Maybe a hope for winning? I get really hyped thinking about ranking up, most of the time. But recently ive only been falling in rank. And it seems impossible to do any better.

League feels like an addiction. I dont even want to play anymore, and i only think of it fondly while im not playing it. But once i actually play it, I never have a good time.

If you don't like the game (whether you understand how MMR and matchmaking works or not), don't feel obligated to keep playing. It's just a game, and the purpose of a game is to have fun.

Male, find a television show, get addicted to it, and binge watch it. No more need for League, and you can't lose to a T.V. show. :3

Well, there are a couple things that I feel make the game significantly less enjoyable. Metas - There are always the people that are so desperate for wins that they will only play the champions that are currently overly strong. Bugs - Again, if there is an exploit that will be overpowered... Expect to see it in EVERY game. MMR/Ranked conflict - In my honest opinion, there is a huge conflict between the ranked ladder and the MMR system. If you do well, you will be matched against opponents much higher than you and you will have to beat opponents maybe 1-2 divisions over you just to get a super low rank. Why should you get into gold and play against platinums before you can even get through gold? If League wants to use MMR system, why not base rank on that? It's really weird to have the ranked system AND the mmr system. Why not just play against Gold V players, when you are gold V.. If you beat them, you deserve to be higher..

You may actually have solved the problem on your own. You may have an addiction to it. This is not unheard of with the internet in general. People have addictions to gambling as well. It may not be a physical addiction, but a psychological one. Can be a habit, hard to break. I had to be off League for over 6 months last summer while I worked in a National Park. The internet was nearly good enough to read (not send) emails. I found it strange at first, but then kind of liked it. Just take a break from it for awhile if nothing else. I wouldn't suggest the cocaine recommendation. Perhaps chocolate instead. Or pickles.

Yea.

Ive decided to quit. Its never fun, at all. and im tired of it consuming my weekends. On top of that, its fairly impossible for me to win any ranked games any more, and thats the only thing i really wanted to do. I wanted so bad to be plat, and I got pretty close a while ago, I was in gold 2. But now im gold 5, and probably going to be silver after this next time. When that happens, i will say my goodbyes, uninstall. and probably check dota out. Lol. I want a replacment game, and either DOTA, or SMITE seems like good replacements.
