You've been really active on the forums recently, and I think I speak for us all when I say, "Thank you!"

On behalf of only myself, I also really appreciate that you've spoken plainly and for yourself. And I -think- that the community is starting to realize that when you speak, you aren't neccessarily representing Riot. IMO, this is GREAT, and I wish that more Rioters had this relationship with the forums. It takes pressure off of you (Rioters) having to make sure that your posts are flawless, which in turn leads to more red posts - and more communication is always better :D.
Also, more Rioters on the forums -> better player-company relations (both in terms of PR, and simple connection to the community).

Woah woah woah, what's the 'rundown' bit at the bottom of the linked post? I've never seen that before. Looks like it shows all red comments and anything immediately bridging them. Was that something you did or was it an automatic thing for having a certain threshold of Rioter comments? A bit off-topic sorry.

Rioters had this relationship a while back but with League rampant growth and steady decline of the average poster it created a very hostile atmosphere towards any Rioter participation in the community. Personally I hope the CB can be a nice 'reset' and we can get that going again! Cheers mate!

Rundown is a new thing on the CB, which does exactly what you described. It doesn't seem to be on every post with a red response, though.

Cool, I would look silly if it had been there for awhile lol. It looks like it's automatic after a certain amount of Rioter comments pop up on a thread. I know threshold is somewhere more than 3, unless it's a manual thing.

Correct - there is a threshold of Red posts required before it appears (as SirArmaMalum speculated below). Speaking for myself, I think it's pretty nifty.

Also, I'm no Riot Whist, but this post has inspired me to be more active on here - so thanks! I think a lot of Rioters would agree that talking to you guys is the most rewarding part of the job :)

I'll also throw out a piece of advice: make a point to also comment on posts that are just forum banter, in your own time. At first, some people will complain about it, and "rioters being paid to do this crap, blah blah blah," but people will pretty quickly realize that you're doing it on your own time, appreciate it, and -- more importantly -- stop taking every one of your posts as some kind of "riot official" announcement, which will go a long way towards making surfing the forums more enjoyable*.

*One of the reasons the forums can sometimes be a hostile place (aside from the trolls) is that LoL is a game that people care a lot about, and when they see a rioter post something like "I've thought about change XZY," they interpret that as "Riot is going to do XYZ," which is not at all accurate, but -- due to the previous rarity of red posts, except for official announcements -- is an understandable mistake to make. If the forum-goer doesn't like change XYZ, it's easy to bitch out a random guy on the forums who you think is ruining your favorite champ, forgetting that there's a person on the other end who cares just as much about the champ as you do. But if people know that your posts are usually unofficial, they know it's just a possibility you're talking about, and are less likely to flip out on you (of course, people still will flip out, and those you have to just ignore, or let them know that you'll talk to them when they're being constructive).

Which department is Whist anyways? I'm not able to find his department highlighted under his name for whatever reason. It's not loading up for whatever reason. His name is still red, but it's not showing his department (whereas I can clearly see Noyz is marketing.)
