In blind pick, I like to wait until the last moment to accept.
Hopefully at least someone else on my team isn't paying attention anymore and misses his chance to type his lane before me. :p
I like to think that guy would have just afk'd if he had stayed anyways!

I see them more often in the middle.
Every single time I play ARAM, this happens at least once.
After 5 minutes into a queue, I'm gonna grab a snack
now watch me get permabanned because i insulted a rioter. it wouldn't surprise me, riot always jumps to punishing me just to watch me get pissed.
Its especially fun in ARAMs and Dominion games. People wait for those queues so much longer than most so its extra funny

They should make space or enter accept it too. I play at dormitory, the computers have no sound and we like to torn away from the screen to talk to each other and sometimes we just barely miss accepting the game because we have to jump across the room to click a small button.
Because every now and then, some people are too distracted to hear their match has been prepared (While other people intentionally troll). The gong must be either louder or it should play repeatedly like war drums until the invitation has expired.

Actually, the issue is when someone actually Declines.
When it times out, it just means that person is AFK. It happens all the time when someone dodges Champion Select after you've locked in and leave your computer to do something while you're supposed to be loading into the game.
Waiting several minutes for a game only to Decline is the actual annoying thing.
Sometimes I like to be that guy but that guy is always lurking somewhere whenever I'm smurfing
