Odd little crash

I was in a team of 4 going into a co-op match. When we all accepted the game, 3 of us got a black screen and could not select a champ or anything. We had to wait until the champ-select timer ran out and took us back to the main menu. I'm thinking this is a 5.5 patch bug, but I don't know.
