Seperate Canada and the USA

I'm a west coast Canadian. And the server move didn't affect me much, but only when there is no traffic.

My home country, Taiwan, has their own servers exclusive to themselves. (I only play on that server once a year or two on not-yet-lv30 TW acc, when I'm back there).

Mainland China and SK each have servers of their own as well.

The irony here is that NA's area is almost 3 times bigger than Taiwan, China, and South Korea combined. And soon, Japan will also be getting their own servers, that's a country pretty much in between Taiwan and Korea.

It'd probably wouldn't make as much sense to request a west coast and east coast servers, as that will split 2 countries in 2. So I request a Canadian server while the Chicago one stays American exclusive.

No, because there are a lot of Canadians on here with American friends (myself) and a lot of Americans with Canadian friends. This would split them up and make them choose between their own server with good ping, or the opposite server with friends, and lower ping.

Servers aren't just about distance, there's also language as well and politics. It makes no sense to say China and Japan would share a server because they are in a similar region when they speak differently, have historically had problems, and so on. Then there's Korea where their games require a social security number, and I'm assuming it's the same for League. This is nothing new, even for mmorpgs, shooters, etc Asia always ends up with several different servers in the region while NA at best gets 2 and it's to divide east and west.
