Just curious, every other project champion is all about obnoxious dashes/blinks. even down to leona. I was just curious as to why Ashe was picked over a more mobile adc like Kalista/graves/vayne/quinn ect
The CEOs wife was pissed that she hasnt gotten anything cool lately. So he made her a skin.
She was fotm which means people were playing her which means bam hella cash for a good skin

Maybe Riot thought that Ashe still haven't got enough skins.
They wanted to make more money before nerfing her, like they always do.

Variety I guess. I don't think Riot really likes to keep skins to certain champs because they have a common mechanic or something along those lines. You wouldn't think 
would fit for a mecha skin, but he has it. I really believe it just comes down to if they have a good concept for a skin on a champ that they wish to go with. I could imagine someone at Riot coming up with a stealthy or cyborg version of 
and it evolved into PROJECT: Ashe.
I actually think it's more fitting than any of the ADC's you mentioned. I couldn't imagine them with a project theme skin especially Graves except maybe Kallista , that'd just look goofy with his animation set.
