Ridiculously overpriced IMO.
Cool figurines, but I wouldn't pay $25 for a little piece of plastic.
I would pay $10-15 tops for a figurine but no more (and then I would buy all of the other ones I want, because they're only $10-15)

ActuallyArrow1 votesYou could kind of compare them to Amiibos, in a way. Amiibos cost $15, and are decent quality, and I believe taller than the current figures Riot is offering. But I guess the difference is Amiibos aren't collectors items.

They are collectives and they are also useful for something else beside standing on your shelf. and even if smaller they pack a lot of detail, more detail than my LoL figures.I own the URF and KATA figure and I got really disappointed by the simplicity and the amount of detail (Yes, it lacks detail)... sadly I find the box more beautiful crafted and designed than the figure itself. And who the hell came with the idea that those big heads are nice? :( I dont like big heads...
Since they put those big heads, then maybe they could come with some special feature for it... if I touch their head and the figure would have a speaker and say some famous league of legends character speeches..or whatever, played randomly, that would be awesome. AS a kid , i got better toys or collective for cheaper prices.

Though I have to admit, I'd rather see figures that have articulation and look more like the champion, and not a chibi version of them. I'd love to pose the figures on my shelf in my office.

It's SOLELY the Chibi style that makes me feel these are overpriced.
I don't want to spend $25+tax on something that looks like it's out of a Nick Jr. show.
On another note, I mentioned the 10-15 dollar price in anticipation to the $5 extra for shipping. So in all, I'd pay about $15-20 for one of these, but not $30 It's always the shipping fee that gets ya

That is my thought as well. Being both unarticulated and SD are two huge strikes against these figurines in my view. I would much prefer to buy articulated action figures in either 3.75" or 6" scale, or even a plush doll if the humans aren't stuck with yordle proportions.

Gamod2 votesAmiibo figures are cheaper and look much better, at least they dont have oversized heads... I like+ the realistic approach. Btw, amiibo are just 10-15$... I would rather collect all the beautiful figures... I own the urf and kata figures and I feel ashamed to show them to my friends... who keeps telling me how RIOT could have came with better ideas and more useful ideas for hteir figures. Such as, release an ultimate skin with a figure that would really be a miniature of the splash art :) (Anyway, this is just my opinion... based on my personal pref and my friends feedback). 
DarkeSoul2 votesNot only are they overpriced but they're poorly made and designed. I was cleaning my Lulu figurine, being very careful so as not to cause any damage, but heard a crack regardless. The arm had split at the shoulder. The brilliant people who designed Lulu have her holding her staff in her right arm which is very tiny compared to the huge staff. The place where the arm joins to the shoulder is only about 3 millimeters wide. The staff is MUCH wider than that and several times longer than the arm holding it. Now anyone who knows anything about engineering or indeed anyone who's ever played with sticks as a child knows you can't take something heavy and attach it to the body with something extremely thin by comparison made of the same material, especially when that material is the obviously cheap plastic these things are made of. It's a shame, too, because I really like the figurines and had plans to buy many more of them, but no longer. They're overpriced and cheaply made. Won't be buying League merchandise again.

Let's face it, for something that's intentionally Chibi style, there kind of overpriced. If they were legitimate small figurines that were at least medium quality look-alike and not some chibi cutesy piece I could see spending 25 for the collector's piece. But as they are designed now, not a chance.

Go Riot. I like the game, why the hell not give them money. What does that $100 buy? Nice skins, digital ones. At least the $25 buys something physical.
Hell, I paid $150 for the original Skyrim. The Dragon from it site on top of one of my front Speakers on my HT. I ended up paying $20 for the Legendary Edition on Steam a while ago anyway. So $185 (after taxes) for full Skyrim and a dragon. I'm happy. I put a lot of hours into Skyrim... but I've put many, many more into League!

Now they have a ziggs statue and its much more than the thresh statue but again i wouldnt risk it!

The statues are higher quality than the figurines, and 10 times their size. I would value the statues at $65-85 but at that price, $100 isn't much more. (It's irony though that you gave evidence of the statues being cheaply made. That just makes me think even more that the figurines are even more cheaply made.)
Don't get me wrong, I would really like my very own figurine. But when I see that sort of pricing I have to laugh and say no thanks.
The figurines are overpriced considering that they are two inches tall and cost 50 cents to make. With $25, I think I'll just make my own league plush and figurines.

It's the insane amount of detail that makes me feel like those are more worth the price

I really don't think that a lol 13inch tall figure should be more than 100$... I would pay around maybe 60$ for it. It is not an unique piece of art, it is something that it is replicated in a factory... ... you only pay overpriced value when you know that you are getting an unique sculpture and not a when you're getting a china factory plastic made toy.

Leagues playerbase consists mostly of 14-24 olds... Broke college and highshool students. Spending money on RP isn't so hard, most people drop 5 to 10 dollars at a time when buying rp. Most people don't drop 30 dollars on rp. If they buy a 3200rp skin, usually people save the rp over time for it, or get mystery gifted.
$25 + $5 tax for something a figurine that doesn't do anything, and is chibi style, not even an exact replica... I think I'd probably silently laugh, or feel ashamed if any of my friends actually spent the money to buy one of these.
