You see, I'm arguing with my friend over the lore of the league of legends announcer and as it turns out, I can't actually find any. Please,

What or who is this announcer?
How does she spread her voice over an entire map?
Why does she do it?

Her name is Jessimca. She is the spirit of Summoners Rift that was torn from her earthly confines by the destruction of the Rune Wars. Jessimcais cursed to spectate and announce the repeated slaughter of various super beings day after day after day.

As far as we know... No, and it shoulndt... why? Because the game is not conected with the lore, even if the Rift is a place of Runeterra, there are no battles in that place... which means that there is no person that "announces" those battles.

There used to be a lore that involved summoner's rift in gladiator combat and she was the announcer. Now she's non-canon, just like the rest of the game.
