Pretty much sums every encounter I've had with riot
"We see you have a problem there! Why don't you go add it to the forums where it will never be seen or commented on by any riot employee! Lost in the story bucket that is the boards beta of league of legends"
"Let us know if there's anything more we can help you with! lol!!11 xD"
I just calls em as I sees em. I wouldn't criticize if it wasn't so blatantly true. (of course, you could always prove me wrong, by saying -anything-)
Literally all you guys have to do is make an auto-response pallet and go through everyone's thread using this comment or that, saying "we know about this problem, we're working diligently to fix it",
or
"hmm, we're stumped on this one, if the issue happens again, send us another complaint and we'll investigate further, because we know that making the effort to fix one persons problem will allow us in the future to fix that problem for everyone else"
By doing this, it lets people know that you at least SAW and READ their post, and that you guys are doing SOMETHING.
But you guys can't even do that. You don't say anything, because literally the player-base isn't worth your time to consider problems and issues with the game. All you care about are a select few reoccurring problems that are simple and easy to fix because you've done it a thousand times before. And then when you fix those simple and easy problems, you guys try to act like you did something special.
But hey, as long as you make that TINY little effort, people will stay right? Because they just think you guys are incompetent, but that really you do try! Because you fixed one tiny little problem that you've done a thousand times already. Good for you riot!! Good job! We're so proud!
And then you guys say (to yourselves, not to the player-base...duh) "Uh oh, looks like we've been found out! Heheh, it's so true! We don't care! But no one will ever know, because if we remain silent, they'll never know any better! xD"
And well... that pretty much sums up how the world works. Pretty sad.
So many things aren't done because so many people are lazy and want others to think that their 'best effort' is just barely completing the minimum requirements, when in all actuality, they're just faking incompetence so they can be lazy. And no one will know any better because only they can expose themselves, and they can only do that by speaking up about it. But why do that when they have it so good not having to do anything at all. Not challenging themselves. Who cares about disappointing people? They'll get over it anyways. Oh, they didn't get over it? Not my problem, that's someone else's.
