3v3 Dominion, Why not?

Has there ever been a plan or idea to give more options to dominion? I realize it'll require a new map and everything but bringing it down to 3v3 would really squeeze out some awesome 1v1 duels and otherwise be amazing amounts of fun.

dominion isn't terribly popular atm. they're talking about doing some revamps to it. same with TT. but i doubt it will be soon. it's just a question of finite resources.
