Well, that's a strategy but there you have the risk that the enemy mid laner might spot you, it's worth the shot, though!

The point isn't to 1vs1 him, only to deal damage so he's no longer "clean".
As someone who climbed all the way to Diamond, I can tell you that you're overstimating the amount of wards people use, specially in the first minutes, since most people want to save the trinket for their own lane.
Of course, you can always tell your team to go jump on him if you get a coordinated team!

Deep Terror Nami1 votesThe experience. He can't kill them without the power of his passive, but once he dies he rips through them. Then he just TP's up top before he even loses any CS. And typically, his jungler doesn't need that camp soon anyway so he takes the Raptors.

Deep Terror Nami1 votesWell, it's kind of like how the ADC/Supp are taking Gromp or Golems first then get to their lane, Sion is just really good at it if he is willing to use TP. Less scumbag and more rolling with the meta. Top laners who take Smite can get a camp first too.
But like Postal said, it can turn into a huge disadvantage if the enemy just sits in the bush and patiently waits, steals your large minion and gets the kill on you. Any interference and it's a bad idea.
Strawberrycocoa1 votesEh, I'm a bit out-dated and old school on laners taking jungle camps. I try not to do it until mid-late game because that's the Jungler's mobs. I leave your jungle alone you don't take my lane minions, you know?

Basically the idea is an extension of TP tops killing a camp to get back to to lane with TP with lvl 2, in order to get an edge over the other toplaner (If you do it fast enough they will still be lvl 1 when you arrive).
Sion up's the idea by letting the Raptors execute him and pummel them to death with his passive.
