Could they have easily fixed this problem by talking to the community? Yes. Did they do that? No. Why? Because, unlike what happened with the Xerath changes, they just assumed everything would be great and didn't ask any hardcore Fiora players what Fiora meant to them. Why? Because obviously they don't matter when re-designing a champion they love.

Jesus, they quite literally just call us ungrateful for not liking the way they updated Fiora. THIS ENTIRE ARTICLE IS A SCREW YOU TO PLAYERS FOR NOT LIKING THE WAY THEY CHANGED FIORA AND SAYING THE PLAYERS ARE IN THE WRONG.

I'm not trying to some Riot fuqboi, but a lot of people enjoyed the Fiora update. No one other than fans of click to win miss the only part of her that is gone; her ult. Just about everything else about her remained very similar. And they did change the splash when everyone complained.

Also in regards to the splash, all they did was make her face larger and change its rotation.

Also when she was fun to play as or against.

Neither of which would have been a problem if the team had said "Hey guys, before we ruin a champion, what makes them special to you?"

The most out of place thing is her ult.

The old Fiora was a button mash champion. If you like that, sure the old one was more fun. But the new one has more potential, and isn't binary with her playstyle. As for playing against, when was the old one fun to play against? In what situation was that monstrosity entertaining as a lane opponent? The current one can destroy you too, but at least you have some options against her.
