Why isn't Ragdoll Poppy on the store?

This link says Ragdoll Poppy was transfered to the Legacy vault as of, at least, October 2013. So with the Legacy vault being opened once more for Sugar Rush, why is she not available?

Never mind that her category change being months ahead of her scheduled re-release means she should have been released with the other 47 legacy skins (and she was not, she might have been released for Snowdown) and that made me think she wasn't being re-released so I missed it.

I've have (or had depending on when this is looked at) an ongoing ticket with Riot Customer support. It's just been a lot of semantics as to why Ragdoll Poppy wasn't being released as a Legacy skin. Such as, "She was Limited back then, despite her being moved to Legacy category months in advance." (not a direct quote) I submitted it because I didn't see any sources displaying Ragdoll Poppy being released with the other Legacy skins like she was advertised and it upset me because it's the last skin I need for one of my favorite champions in the game.

Whatever, though. I can handle that she was "Limited" back then. But now she's Legacy, no doubt about it, and she's not in the vault release with the rest. What's the deal, guys?

This got really long winded and I'm tired and hungry while posting it, but my point stands that this skin needs to be released again. I hurts nobody to just let me buy this damn skin. It is actually 100% beneficial to every party involved.

Ragdoll Poppy is considered to be a Snowdown Showdown skin. The legacy skins on sale are not tied to any event. Ragdoll Poppy should be back for Christmas though :)

No, not anymore. Skins tied to an event are Limited, not Legacy. Ragdoll Poppy's category changed to Legacy in October 2013, so that means she should be released whenever the Legacy vault is opened.

Limited Edition skins are skins which will not go on sale ever again without a change in policy. Rusty Blitzcrank, Victorious skins, PAX skins and King Rammus are examples of Limited skins.

Legacy skins are skins which are not in the store and only brought back for "events". Be it a real event (Snowdown) or a random decision to put them on sale. Historically, event associated skins, such as Snowdown and Harrowing skins, will only be re-released during the associated holiday. During these events they say they "open the legacy vault" in order to make those specific skins available.

Ragdoll Poppyis still legacy. She will be available in store again at some point. But as she's tied to an event she is not available for this opening of the legacy vault. They are not releasing EVERY legacy skin when they open the vault.

You're wrong on every account. Let's have a direct quote from the site YOU linked on Limited skins: "Limited edition Skins were skins available from the League of Legends store during seasonal or special events and purchasable for a certain duration and then were removed once the event was over. They'd only appear in the champion's information tab if you own them." And it goes on, "Originally, limited edition skins were not to be released from the vault for further purchasing to retain their value to the players that owned them. Though in 2013, Riot announced that certain limited edition skins will be put back on sale for a short time between October 2013 and June 2014." Point 1, moonbat.

For my second point I would like to say that several event skins are out right now.

To go for the win, I'd like to say that opening the vault LITERALLY MEANS RELEASING EVERY LEGACY SKIN! You can't just say the vault is open but you're only allowed to take some of the stuff. That's not how public access works.

These champion skins were then moved to the legacy vault and may be released again from time to time." Notice that you do not see holiday skins listed under "limited edition" on that page. The holiday skins are now under the "legacy" header. The skins listed under the limited edition header includes PAX skins, Championship Riven, Victorious Skins, King Rammus, Black Alistar, Human Ryze, UFO Corki, Riot Squad Singed, Judgement Kayle, Rusty Blitzcrank and Urf the Manatee (Warwick). That is it.

Under "legacy skins": "Legacy Skins are either skins that Riot has retired, seasonal skins, or special event skins that have been removed from the League of Legends Store and placed in Riot's Vault. Some, but not necessarily all, Legacy Skins will be re-released from the Vault for limited runs in the League of Legends Store."

Pulling from the Snowdown Showdown category (where Ragdoll Poppy is), in application to all the holiday skins from 2009 and 2010 (after that they were released as legacy): "These holiday skins were released as limited edition, but were later re-released in December 2013 for a limited time; after which they became classified as "legacy" skins and as such may return in the future:"

If it helps... Imagine a store owner goes to open a vault filled with special items... The owner selects some of the items, after he opened the vault, to put on his shelves. The owner did not open the vault to give access to the public, he opened the vault so he could pull things out that aren't normally available.

Aside from the candy skins (Dark Candy Fiddle, Lollipoppy, Candy Cane MF) what event skins are available? Given it's a "sugar rush" event right now... it makes sense for candy skins to be available.

The red post you linked also says this under limited skins: "Limited Edition skins are only available for a limited time, after which they will not be available for purchase again in the future. These skins include ALL holiday skins released before December 2011. These include skins like Kitty Kat Katarina, Ice Toboggan Corki, and Snow Bunny Nidalee."

Fun Fact: All of those were re-released. So that post contains invalid information.

The new definition of Limited is a skin that was advertised as never coming back upon release. But already know it's invalidity based on your other points.

"The store is open." "The park is open" "You're too open when you talk." Saying open as an adjective means it has no limit. You don't say "The vault is open" if it is not open. It is still closed, but some things have been retrieved. It was opened as a literal verb, yeah. But it was not as open as implied.

However, I guess I can't argue that Ragdoll Poppy is a Snowdown skin with literally no association with winter in any shape or form and so I guess she'll be re-released in the winter.

Really, this wasn't formulated or well thought out. It was a post in frustration due to shit customer service from Riot and not fixing just the simplest thing. All that needed to be done was just say, "Hey, we know this happens. Here's why. Here's the skin while we take the appropriate amount of RP. Be more careful in the future." Obviously in more detail that would show this is a point against me and I won't be able to retrieve any more skins this way. But it also shows that Riot really does care and sympathize with its audience. instead I feel like just a blade of grass in a lawn. Yeah, there's a place I call home surrounded by people just like me, but there's not real attention. it's just a blanket of water that goes over us and then we're neglected.
