I Am Saddened By The Fact That It's About To Be April And So Far We Have Only 1 VU This Year

And not another one even announced or not the PBE at the moment

To be clear, I am a huge advocate of the Relaunch Team and what they do. VU news is my favorite kind of news. Love seeing an old champ become relatable, playable, and just awesome to look at. This is not me complaining, complaining will get you nowhere. Would just like a discussion and I do wonder if others feel the same.

But to make myself clear, I don't want any raging or bashing of Riot. Nothing negative of that sort. Just would like to have VU discussions, as that is basically all that is on my mind lately when it comes to League.

Riot, can we please get a timetable? I mean, I know you can't tell us who you're working on, but can we get an idea of how many champs are currently in VU land, and maybe how far along they are? Just so we get an idea of how many we'll realistically see this year and maybe a timeframe on when?

Rioters have stated many times that they will never release timetables, timelines, dates, etc. in fear that they might miss it and really disappoint people. Similarly, notice how they release Patch Notes 24 hours (give or take) before the launch of said patch? That is intentional. About the VU's or reworks, they have told of some reworks that are a must this year ( Sion & Warwick ), other than that, you'll just have to be patient and check Surrender @ 20. Just sit back and go on this wild journey Riot has in store for us all.

EDIT: And also, the things I'm specifically requesting (like, how many VU's are in-progress right now) is they kind of thing Riot has told us before. I mean, I doubt we'll get any specifics beyond that, but a rough idea of how many champs they're working on RIGHT NOW seems feasible.

You check whatever sight works with you, I'm just a Surrender @ 20 kind of man. Anyway, specifics tend to get players worked up. They get excited or angry about a specific change/addition that may not have been so "specific" all along. Riot has set a list out of a few champions they intend to work on this year. If they can't get to them all, it is what it is. Welcome to the League of Legends, where every patch is like opening a gift that you may or may not have wanted.

True. People tend to read too much into something and set themselves up for huge disappointment. So Riot won't give timetables. Plus they like surprising us.

I check Surrender@20 about 30 times a day for updates** (really hoping I'd see a VU announcement)**

That would be nice, but I severely doubt it. The Relaunch team is probably pretty small, I doubt they can work on more than one or two champs at a time.

TBH I want to see more skins for champs that only have one. Skins are what make them money, no?

I honestly feel that Riot needs to rethink it's one skin per new release champion policy.

There's a growing number of champions with only one skin and some of those skins aren't particularly great. At least with two skins per new release champion you could get some diversity with the new champions. If you got both skins you could rotate which skin you used and if you didn't like one of the skins you could just buy the other one.

Currently with the one skin per new release champion policy if you don't like the skin that the new champion ...... you're basically out of luck. It takes a long time to get around to the new release champions getting skins.
