Jarvan would benefit greatly from the same update as Kassadin

DISCLAIMER: Please save your list of champions that need an update before Jarvan. I'm not claiming he should skip the line

My issues with Jarvan:

Model: His shoulder to bicep to forearm ratio is off http://www.lolking.net/models/?champion=59&skin=0
Design: His armor has the right idea, just poorly executed. His update splash does a good job of making it work

Attack animations: All I think is "whack" every time he attacks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-boeVy2lnQk . With a weapon that cool I'm sure they can think of cooler attacks
Running animations: That run is a bit goofy

Jarvan is in a weird place because he is not old enough to warrant a VU (at least compared to the ones who really need it) but he is also not up to the current standard. I couldn't think of how he'd get an update until I saw what they did with Kassadin. It hits all the points in which Jarvan needs

IronStylus, Ququroon, ChamUp...Thoughts?

Jarvan is goofy, I'll say it. He's got.. dragon armor? But he's.. the Demacian crown prince? Yes, I think he could use a similar update since his rig is decent. Personally I'd want to execute on him so that he feels like the crown prince in battle regalia. Not some Monster Hunter mish-mash. This means sort of a strange update that's more like a thematic update. Making him fit into the world versus just being completely arbitrary. Can we maintain his silhouette and shapes? Absolutely, but I feel we should re-imagine him a bit more.

Jarvan always looked so weird in game to me. His idle stance is completely unnatural with his torso being impossibly arched back and the head is out of position too.

As the most played Jarvan player IN THE WORLD (probably not an exaggeration) I feel I should weigh in on this.

His stance is perfect, don't you effing dare touch it. It's a taunt all by it's self. It screams "come over here and hit me if you DARE, and you know what, fetch the rest of your team... I'll wait."

Some of his attacks do derp out a tad, especially his critical strikes, but the passive proc IS Jarvan. The way he just leans forward and delivers massive damage then steps right back up to that absurdly manly stance. Now, if you could chain concurrent attacks like Garen's sword swinging back and forth, maybe sometimes bring the back end of his spear up for a hit, that would be SUPER kickass, but don't you dare touch that martial cadence proc.

Someone had the idea of other champions responding with a cry of DEMACIA when Jarvan cataclysms... Yes. Just yes, unless they are a champion who telegraphs something with that, Lux, Garen, etc... Maybe even then, just give them a different Demacia.

I would be perfectly happy with his look being changed to that of a Battle regalia type... thing... We have Dragon Slayer Jarvan for the Dragon armor look already (still my favorite, though warring kingdoms is pretty good too), his base skin doesn't need basically the same theme only in yellow. Something like Victorious Jarvan? Infact, why don't you just unlock Victorious Jarvan for everyone and use that as the vanilla skin. Eh? Eh? No? Ok....

Oh, tiny thing as well, since it is impossible for Jarvan to throw out 2 flags at once even with max cdr, why not actually have him hold the flag when e is off cooldown. I don't think anybody would mind knowing exactly when he is able to dive in and murder your whole team and when he has to wait a couple more seconds, either friendly or enemy. That's an easy bit of "clarity" I think is one of your new fangled design buzz words that would be easy to add in a rework.

I prefer Jarvan's current standing stance. It seems fitting for a combat-ready prince. I do agree that his running animation is a little weird. I'd be fine with waiting for a full VU and voiceover (preferably with the same voice actor; I don't feel the need for a new one). Unless Riot has him placed extremely far down the list of champions to give visual/texture/etc. updates, giving him a few new textures would probably be a waste of resources (Riot's slow enough without doing extra changes to champion that will be replaced by changes of a much greater scale, later on).
