because it wasn't as big of a deal as I thought .it seemed like poppy update overshadowed it. even Riot was talking more about poppy and not illaoi so the community was.

yeah i dont really like to play against her. she has stupid scale. and her E just mkes me lose to minion waves. and she can just use it all over again

i don't mine if they her scaling but they need to 1 make it easier to get out her E like killing one you will still get smacked and lose minions and the cooldown is low so you can still do it when they get back and they need to make it to where youc an what up to you soul and take it aka like gp did in the lore

burh she can use her E from the bush and its invisible.

If she's using it from the brush and you know she's there, stand behind minions.

If she's using it from the brush and it's before minions spawn she won't have anything else and you can probably trade with her better because she picked E first instead of Q or W.

If she's using it from the brush and she came from top lane to mid lane you shouldn't have been that far pushed with top missing.

If she's using it from the brush and you're in a teamfight then you should have warded the brush.

If she's using it from the brush and you're roaming or in the jungle, either you should have been using vision better or you shouldn't have traveled in alone.

Illaoi's main weakness is her lack of CC; her E is the only CC she has and if she misses that you can do whatever you want for the next 10 seconds.

Basically, a lot of champions counter her and by constantly moving unpredictably, moving close to your minions, or kiting her, she can easily be dealt with.

illaoi wasnt a big deal because she wasnt so hugely OP like most of the new champs they put out. usually they let them be unstoppable on release until everyone buys them.

It was just cosmic bad timing on illaoi 's part people have been waiting on poppy's rework for years. That + the hype riot scruffy have made people lose their minds for the weeks to come. Now as for jhin( the next champ) he/she/it has a ton of hype due to the secrecy of their kit and the fact that he "killed" zed but if some reworkwith a ton more hype come out at the same time say taRic then jhin would be over shadowed too

Not precisely. Reworks aren't exactly common, and specially one as awaited like Poppy's.

Riot kind of dropped the ball wanting to release both before the end of 2015, as Illaoi was completely overshadowed. I mean, they DID successfully launch both, but there was little to zero fanfare about the new Champion.

the reason they never reworked poppy is they didn't know how they even came out saying if anyone can find a way to rework her they will start work on it asap
