tl;dr on Oct. 6th vBulletin will be shut down, marking the full transition over to the Boards.

Personally I feel a warning of only 5 days for such a large shake-up to the forum-base is too short. But I will also say I'm bias as most of my larger activities here are measured in weeks if not months, and I know I'm not the only one. But, either way, the posts have been made and the appropriate preparations have assumingly been made behind the scenes.

With this MASSIVE rise in traffic I will also speculate to say that some new features that have been hinted as being "limited by the low number of votes and general traffic" will be let loose between now and then. We will see shortly!
