As I understood it, the EXP was removed because people were abusing the refer a friend system. So why did IP get tossed out if you aren't with X amount of people? It's a good place for beginners to practice their skills while building up a roster (or saving for runes) without ruining other people's games.
My guess is they didn't want to confuse new comers with getting IP but not XP? Not sure, I can't really think of anything that has a strong amount sense to it. Maybe they wanted to encourage newer players to play Co-op VS AI? Or find other new players to practice in custom games with?
because apparrantly some people found a superior way to farm IP in these matches. Simply put enough bots to fill the game, go take a 3 hr walk, come back and repeat.
Can't have people getting IP TOO efficiently, now can we?
