Record of 0-6. That is a KDA of 4.6 (not bad for what the enemy team was). Teammates over those 6 games: 111-165-197. That is a KDA of 1.8.

Fact: Feeding teammates make me drop elo. And that was with a game that we completely crushed them, my team started farming their jungle after taking an inhib instead of helping me defend against the Udyr and Garen taking our 2nd tier tower, inhib tower, inhib, nexus towers, and nexus. All while they farmed the enemy jungle. Wut.

Tl;Dr: My KDA: 4.6. Teammates KDA: 1.8. GG rito, teammates make me lose. Game is decided 98% by who gets the feeders on their team.

Kills don't win games, objectives do.

Being 20-0-19 will certainly help you take objectives and push the odds of winning in your favor, but if you get a bunch of kills and don't know how to press your advantage you might as well not have those kills at all for all the good you're doing. I've witnessed many, many games (including pro games) where the team with more kills lost because they couldn't/didn't push their advantage and take objectives to close the game out.

This isn't CoD; don't put so much importance on KDA.

Every game is a diceroll. Just accept it. Sometimes the dice rolls badly 6 times in a row even though the odds are slightly in your favor. It happens. It's the way the system works. It's a team game. Not a 1v1.

No. You just have to be OVERWHELMINGLY more skilled than those in your elo to be able to solo carry games. "Just a little bit" doesn't quite cut it. How are popular streamers able to launch "unranked to Diamond in a few days" marathons? And if you also acknowledge the existence of elo-boosting, does that not also discredit your claim?

Granted, there are some games that are completely hopeless, but if you are amazing at this game (part of the 0.01%), you'll be able to win 1 vs 9 games with ease.

There are tons of factors that go into winning a game (a large part of it is your attitude), but that's too long to type here.

STA TIS TICS You influence your games by 1/5. If your influence is a higher level than the rest, you're gonna climb over a large number of games (~1000)

I agree that KDA should be taken into account when deciding LP amounts at the end of the game. My last ranked game I had a KDA over 3, our mid had a 1, and EVERYONE else on the team had a KDA below 1. Needless to say we lost, but it was obvious that I did everything I could to help us win. The amount I lost should be relatively way lower than the rest of the team. And the ONLY reason why my KDA was that low was due to my team feeding so hard I couldn't stay alive against the onslaught. I had ONE death until I got focused by THREE fed enemies. On the same note, if you win a game and have a low KDA, you should get less points.

The benefit of this would be that poor players would never climb up the ranks until they improved their game, while the good players could still climb at a decent rate even if they get stuck on horrid teams.

I'm not kidding, I'm looking at your op.gg

Based on your average KDA and your average winrate, it's definitely because you hold back in fights. No way you lose so many games over a long period of time with your KDAs unless you do hold back damage or avoid fighting all the time so you can maintain kda

your low kill count and mediocre assist count too. when you're in a carry role you need to be going out there getting kills more too

Keep it going!!

37-15-32 in 6 games means you get barely 11 kills + assists per game

some people get twice that for just kills

looks like you run away from battle and try to maintain kda rather than fighting

except kda means nothing in winning, it's how you use your game knowledge in order to abuse advantages.

your team got aced and the enemy team decides to do dragon and send 2 people to push bot??? take the baron for an EZ comeback. That's how you win games, not going 10-0 in lane with darius and having no idea what to do next.
