The point on posting or commenting a topic

I'm really wondering what became the point on posting a topic on this forum. Comments get randomly downvoted that actualy contained the only real information on a question. Meanwhile topic suggestion that are even commented by the staff getting no votes add all.

I just feel a lot of the usefull topics & comments are lost in the trafic while memes getting upvoted even in the serious sections. The forum just becomes like reddit while it just becomes a popularity contest. It has positive sides but also a lot of negative ones. Currently the negative ones already start to gain problems. Seriously even the cassiopia discussion was pushed to the second page on the first week.

Do whe need more board sections? Or do whe just need more stickys. I'm not sure but something has to be done.
