Is there any hope for this game anymore?

Nowadays there is no such thing as a good or friendly game anymore. Most people know that this game has a lot of kids playing it and everyone knows how disrespectful kids usually are since they don't have someone punishing them since Riot doesn't do much, unless you are using death threats and the like, its near impossible to get their attention. And yes I know there is more than just kids playing, but I am sure the community is well aware that a fair amount of them are probably kids, at least by the time you are an actual adult you have common curtesy unless provoked, speaking of which...innocent players are punished while trolls are rewarded with the current system and they know it. Someone can troll or feed or be toxic all game and guess what happens if you react? You are the one likely to get in trouble. The troll won't and even if they did, most trolls in this game could care less if they get banned so they will continue until they do, or even worse they will just make a smurf, shows how pitiful some people are.

And that is just in normals, give up the idea that Ranked is a lot more serious, its not. Bronze is even filthier than normals which the majority are in, Silver and Gold usually have their heads in their ass and belittle the Bronze(Which I don't blame them tbh) Platinum is where it seems to start actually getting serious it seems so good luck people. Even then I am sure a Plat or Diamond can say how much a cesspool that is as well, hell even Diamond which is as close as you can get to having a chance to actually become pro probably has its share.

From what little I actually cared to research about LoL, the community wasn't this bad before. It had its ups and downs like any other, but now its another story. Its so rotten to the core that Riot can't even fix it without basically getting rid of a majority of its playerbase. Wanna know the worse part? Even if they did actually do that, since this is a free game, there is no issue just making another account and get right back in. IP bans are useless nowadays when anyone can look up on Google how to change your IP.

I honestly feel bad for Riot to be honest. This is a good game and yet it is literally sprawling with filth. I wonder if they have ever considered making the game sub or require purchasing to play? That would get rid of a fair amount of filth in itself since trolls rarely like to pay to troll, they troll when its free. I am sure everyone has had games if not dozens at this point where they get annoyed or angry due to someone, when this is a game, which you are meant to have fun with, and I mean due to a troll. There is a reason most people say LoL has the nastiest community....because it does. For crying out loud LoL makes the CoD ragers look like gentlemen.

TLDR; It honestly makes me wonder why a lot of people, myself included still play the game when most the time it ends in anger. Seems like the best way to go is start a game, mute everyone and win or lose, just leave post game lobby immediately. Speaking of which, Riot needs to make it so mutes follow post game. If I muted someone, that doesn't mean I want to hear them post game either.
