what is consderd a good KDA?
Is an over all ranked KDA of 8.6 considered good? It is not my over all KDA> But it is the over all kda of my last 8 or 9 games. When i started again. The first time I was not ready at all.

First of all, KDA means nothing. You might even be 0/4/0 but if you died 4 times protecting your whole team, getting turrets dragon objectives and so on you did more than well.
If you want a more semplicistic view then you can do this: look at the total kills/deaths of your team and divide by 5: if your kills are more than the team average you did well, if you died less time than your team average you did well. If you have assists equal to your deaths then those deaths are somewhat forgivable. If you died and killed a lot, the KDA is even but the game is not, depending on the impact that those K/D did to the match: did you died defending a turret? or you divebombed on the enemy team leaving the objective defenseless?
So be wary about how you evalutate KDA
3 is pretty average if you get less than that you are probably dying too much
4-5 is good
anything higher than 6 is very good but you cant look at numbers in low amounts of games.
that depends. did you win those 8 or 9 games?
Good KDA is the one that helped your team to win
If it does not matter, then why is it that when I first started ranked people always said that my KDA was trash and I sucked because my KDA was so bad and no one would want to play with someone with such a bad KDA and all of that?
KDA is irrelevant. A match I had lately - my team was chasing all around the map, generally getting more kills than giving. I played split push oriented kayle (focused on attack damage). While my team was fighting all the time and not taking objectives I focused on pushing and destroyed half of the turrets and literally all the inhibitors. My KDA was bad (way worse than my teammates' at least) BUT - It was me who won the game :D If my team focused on fighting all the time, eventually they would screw up a big teamfight and loose an inhib or baron... and that could give the enemies the chance to win the game. In any case what I was trying to say - taking objectives wins the game, not fighting the enemy, so KDA is not worth that much as a stat. Also, think about Sona - you get a shitload of assists just from your auras and you can have a crazy KDA without really contributing to kills (other than randomly pressing all buttons save for ult).
8.6 would be insanely good. But if its only over the course of 10 games or so it doesn't really mean much.
The good KDA is the one that wins you the game. Nothing else matters.
